We're glad you're here!

Welcome! What a joy it is to introduce you to our church! You’ll discover that our passion is to provide a place where people just like you can have a life-changing experience with God. At SLFG, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. What people usually notice first about us is the life-giving nature of our ministry. Our goal is to infuse life and God’s love into people and families through engaging, powerful worship services that offer biblical truth in relevant and practical ways. Together, we’re striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there’s relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. In short, we’d like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time. So whether you’re a spiritual seeker who’s just starting to ask questions about God, or a committed Christian who wants to sink the roots of your faith even deeper, you can find a home here at SLFG. We invite you to worship with us this Sunday! In the meantime, you’ll find everything you need right here to get connected to SLFG online resources. You can use this site to check out our community, listen to one of our weekend services, find information on our ministries, or read about what’s going on around the church. Enjoy, and please contact us if you have any questions.

What to Expect

When you come through the front door at SLFG, you will be greeted by someone and invited to share in a cup of coffee and conversation. There will be hosts available to show you around our facilities and the locations of our children’s ministries. Make sure to stop in at The Source because we have a fun gift for all of our guests. Worship at SLFG is lively but reverent, exciting but holy. We believe that when we worship God, we are connecting with the Lord of all creation, so it's worth it to give every part of ourselves to Him, holding nothing back. You may see people using flags, clapping, or lifting their hands in praise. These are just some of the ways we worship God. We minister to people. We pray for the sick, comfort the hurting, encourage the weak and weary, and reach out in love to those who need a friend. We encourage those with spiritual, physical, and emotional needs to find their solution in Jesus. We minister the Word of God. We believe God has revealed Himself through the Scriptures, and the Scriptures are to be taught using sound doctrine. Our pastors are knowledgeable and inspired - they will teach you how to take the Word of God and apply it in your everyday life.
