Dear Student,

In today's culture, young adults need more than just a good education, they need a foundation on which to build their lives. Students are entering college or the workforce with no idea of how to manage their relationships, finances, or time. The average student will change his or her major up to three times while attending college, and up to 80 percent of high school graduates are unsure of what degree or career options to pursue. Adding insult to injury, most students find themselves spiritually uncertain, without a moral compass to guide them through uncertain times.

I started seeking God for a solution. The birth of theBURN came from that prayer. We wanted to give young adults a chance to learn to fly, with once-in-a-lifetime adventures and strong spiritual input.
           
theBURN is an 10 month program that’s designed to give students a firm foundation and a moral compass to navigate the many challenges facing young adults today. Geared towards high school graduates ages 17-25, theBURN offers students the opportunity to learn practical life-management skills, while developing a strong faith that will anchor them through any storm, with training that gives students the tools they need to succeed in college, in the workforce, and in the world.

Most importantly, students at theBURN will learn to cultivate a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Students will be challenged to push through their outward limitations and to thrive as a leaders, to serve, and to burn in passionate pursuit of Christ. Yes, theBURN is a crazy adventure but it’s also a great choice for the preparation of life.
